Small Grants Fund

Grants available to local organisations

Small Grants (sometimes known as the Well-Being grants) were offered by the Neighbourhood Partnership to help local organisations with projects that enhanced the local community either in general, or targeted towards specific social groups.

Closing dates for BCR NP Small Grants

With the closing of Neighbourhood Partnerships, due to Bristol City Council budget cuts, Small Grants are no longer being awarded.

We hope that a small amount of funding, comparable to our previous Little Grants scheme, may be available in the future once Bristol City Council has decided what happens after Neighbourhood Partnerships.

To apply for a Small Grant

Applications are invited from organisations in the BCR area. They are assessed by the BCR NP Small Grants panel against the BCR NP Priorities.

To apply, use the form on the Bristol City Council webpage:

An applicant must be a local organisation that has a constitution and a bank account – or be able to partner with a local organisation that does. If you need help to find a partner organisation please ask (see below).

All Neighbourhood Partnerships use the same guidelines on making an application and the same application forms. However, the criteria may differ from one NP to another. The BCR NP grant criteria reflect the BCR NP Priorities within the BCR Neighbourhood Partnership Plan for 2016/17 and you need to indicate which priority, or set of priorities, your project will address on your application form.

Applications should be submitted to:
