Explore the “Get Growing Trail” by bike!

Local cycling charity Life Cycle UK is holding a series of led rides around this year’s “Get Growing Garden Trail” over the weekend of 7th and 8th June. Five guided rides, each exploring a selection of Garden Trail venues and led by a qualified instructor, will be on offer, including a trip out to the beautiful Tyntesfield Walled Garden and a Family friendly ride.

Poppy Brett, Life Cycle UK’s Chief Executive commented:

“We are really excited to have teamed up with Bristol Food Network to offer a programme cycle rides as part of the Get Growing Garden Trail. Visiting these lovely gardens is a must for any nature, gardening or food enthusiast and what better way to get there than on two wheels!”

Life Cycle’s team of expert instructors have planned a series of routes to take in the best gardens. The Get Growing Garden Trail, which is in its 4th year, features 33 gardens all over Bristol and takes place over the weekend of 7th /8th June. The sites range from pocket growing sites in parks, to expansively productive fields; miniature orchards tucked behind shops, to historic gardens and gardening projects which are focussed around social get-togethers to those focussed on social enterprise. Each community project has its own ways of working and its own ways for people to get involved.
