Roads – potholes, utility companies and yellow lines

Highway officers are keen to spread the word on residents reporting potholes and missing double yellow lines. This can be done via the council website or by contacting customers services neighbourhood.partnerships@bristol.gov.uk  or ringing 0117 922210.

In the case of double yellow lines the council can fine the utility companies who have failed to replace them and get them reinstated. Highways have a limited number of officers so they can’t check every time a utility company digs up the road, so please urge your street reps and community groups to report these issues, and if you see them don’t walk on by….
